Privacy Policy

IAmSafe24 ("we", "our", "the app") is a daily safety check-in tool, a product of Infinity IT and Management Services - FZCO, registered in the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account information: your name and the email address you sign in with (email/password or Google Sign-In).
• Emergency contact information you provide: name, email, phone number, and relationship label for each emergency contact you add. This is personal data about someone other than you, which you are providing to us on their behalf so we can alert them if you miss a check-in.
• Check-in activity: timestamps of when you check in, your chosen check-in window, and a count of missed check-ins — used solely to determine when to alert your contacts.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active Premium subscription and when it expires, managed through Google Play Billing.
• Device information: app version, platform (Android/iOS), and a push-notification token used to deliver reminders and admin announcements.
• Consent record: the date you accepted this policy and which version you accepted, kept as proof of consent.

What we deliberately do not collect

• Location data — never. IAmSafe24 does not request, collect, or store your GPS location or any location-derived data, at any time.
• We do not access your device contacts. You type in emergency contact details manually.
• We do not read your messages or have any chat/messaging functionality.

How we use this information

• To operate the check-in and alerting system: detecting a missed check-in and notifying your emergency contacts by email (all users) and by WhatsApp/SMS (Premium subscribers only).
• To send you daily reminder notifications at your chosen time.
• To verify and manage your Premium subscription.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

Who we share information with

We use the following service providers to operate the app. Each processes only the data necessary for its function:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and push notification infrastructure.
• Twilio SendGrid — delivers missed-check-in alert emails to your emergency contacts.
• Twilio — delivers WhatsApp/SMS alerts to emergency contacts of Premium subscribers.
• Google Play Billing — processes Premium subscription payments; we never see or store your payment card details.
• Google AdMob— shows ads to Free-tier users. AdMob may use device identifiers for ad personalization and measurement, subject to Google's own privacy policy.

We do not sell your data, or your emergency contacts' data, to anyone.

Your emergency contacts

If you add someone as an emergency contact, we process their name, email, phone number, and relationship to you, based on your instruction, so we can alert them if you miss a check-in. They have not created an account with us and have not directly consented to this processing — you are responsible for only adding contacts who are comfortable receiving alerts from you through this app. Contacts can request removal of their information by contacting us directly at the email below.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete My Data. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Your rights (GDPR and similar laws)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at the email below to exercise these rights.

Children's privacy

IAmSafe24 is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the version recorded against your account and may ask you to re-confirm your consent.
